Canadian Political Society

The Canadian Political Society is dedicated to fostering engagement in the realm of Canadian and Quebec politics by organizing events and inviting prominent guest speakers who specialize in these fields. The Journal of Political Affairs serves as a platform dedicated to showcasing outstanding student-written papers across a diverse array of subjects related to political science. The publication aims to highlight fresh perspectives and innovative research contributions from the student community. The Editor-in-Chief selects a team of editors and holds final responsibility for the publication and operation of the journal.

Jeux de la Science Politique

The Jeux de la Science Politique (JDSP) is a vibrant event that brings together universities from across Quebec and Canada to showcase their students' diverse talents. Each year, participating institutions assemble teams that compete in a variety of categories designed to challenge and highlight both intellectual and physical prowess. These categories include sports, as well as trivia, where quick thinking and a broad knowledge base are put to the test. Additionally, academic challenges allow students to demonstrate their understanding of key political concepts, while debates stimulate critical thinking and public speaking skills. Finally, math competitions push participants to solve complex problems under pressure, making the event a multi-faceted celebration of student capabilities and camaraderie.
