Academic

As one of the most academically focused associations at Concordia, the PSSA takes pride in its members’ professional and academic development and takes these initiatives very seriously. The success of undergraduate students in political science is a high priority as it is a demonstration of the quality of the program we have here.

In the furtherance of this goal, we assist in the finding of internships, job postings, and host workshops or help publish academic papers.

Additionally, we offer advocacy services; should you be having problems with a professor or need help with an academic request, we are here for you. The PSSA has several seats on Curriculum committee, Department council and in the selection process of tenure-track professors.

Any concerns, issues or ideas you have regarding Concordia’s political science program, department or a professor, make sure to let us know at academic.pssa@asfa.ca
